Thankful Sunday 2025

 - 10:45 AM

Date: Sunday, November 16th
Services: 9:00 AM & 10:45 AM

Each year, on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, our church family gathers to give public thanks to the Lord for His recent works among us. This is one of our most cherished traditions — a time when we stop to testify to the goodness and faithfulness of God.

We invite you to share what God has done in your life over the past 45 days — moments of answered prayer, breakthrough, healing, provision, conviction, or spiritual growth. Let this be a time to lift high the name of Jesus and remind one another that “the LORD is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.” — Psalm 100:5

✋ Guidelines for Those Sharing

To keep our focus on Christ and allow many voices to be heard, please follow these boundaries with love and humility:

Keep it brief — around 3 minutes.
This ensures others have time to share and the morning remains spirit-led yet orderly (1 Corinthians 14:40).

Focus on what God has done in the past 45 days.
We’re celebrating recent works of His hand — new mercies, answered prayers, and spiritual growth.

Give God the glory — not people.
This is not the time to thank family members or express general gratitude for life blessings (spouse, kids, job, etc.). Keep the spotlight on the Lord’s activity.

Be prepared and prayerful.
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you choose one clear story that glorifies Christ and builds up His church.

Be authentic.
Whether your story is of joy, struggle, or renewed faith, speak truthfully and humbly. Every testimony matters.

“Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples!” — Psalm 105:1
