Biblical Guidance
Real Hope. Real Truth. God’s Word for Real Life.

At Vine & Branch Fellowship, we believe true help begins with truth. Biblical Guidance is not built on shifting opinions, cultural theories, or man’s wisdom. It is built on the unchanging Word of God.

Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

When life feels heavy, confusing, broken, or tangled in sin, God has not left us without direction. His Word speaks to the heart, exposes what is false, reveals what is true, and leads us toward repentance, faith, obedience, and peace in Jesus Christ.

Biblical Guidance at Vine & Branch is centered on the conviction that the Bible possesses supreme authority regarding mankind, human nature and motivation, the purpose and process of change, and man’s relationship to God. We believe the ultimate questions of life cannot be rightly answered apart from the God who made us. Any attempt to explain man, change, suffering, or healing apart from the Lord will always fall short.

Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword…”

We believe the Bible is sufficient to build a comprehensive model for biblical counseling and care. This is not the work of a few professionals, but a calling for the body of Christ. Believers are called to bear one another’s burdens, speak truth in love, restore in gentleness, and point one another back to Jesus.

Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

What We Believe

God Rules the Universe

God is Creator and Sustainer of all things. He is the one true God, revealed in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Nothing is outside His rule.

Colossians 1:16–17 says, “For by him all things were created… and in him all things hold together.”

Our Biggest Enemy Is the Enemy Within

Mankind is by nature enslaved to sin and unable to save himself. We do not simply have problems—we are the problem apart from Christ.

Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Grace Is Sweet Beyond Measure

God, rich in mercy, sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay the penalty for sin. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

Ephesians 2:8–9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith… not a result of works.”

God Gloriously Transforms Lives

God continues His work in the believer, shaping him or her into the image of Christ. We pursue holiness, but our confidence rests in God who finishes what He begins.

Philippians 1:6 says, “He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion…”

Love Is Key

Jesus made it clear: love God and love your neighbor. Truth must always be spoken in love.

Matthew 22:37–39 says, “You shall love the Lord your God… You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

God’s Word Is Life

The Bible is inspired, inerrant, and alive. It cuts through self-deception and leads us into truth and worship.

John 17:17 says, “Your word is truth.”

The Gospel of the Cross Alone Brings Peace

Freedom from sin and peace with God come only through Jesus Christ—His death and resurrection.

Romans 5:1 says, “Since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

What Biblical Guidance Is

Biblical Guidance is discipleship-centered care rooted in Scripture. It is for those who are struggling, burdened, stuck in sin, grieving, or seeking direction.

This ministry helps people:

See life through the lens of Scripture.

Address heart issues, not just surface behavior.

Respond to sin and suffering biblically.

Grow in repentance, faith, and obedience.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 says, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable…”

What Biblical Guidance Is Not

Biblical Guidance at Vine & Branch Fellowship is not professional mental health counseling, therapy, or clinical treatment. We are not licensed Marriage and Family Counselors (MFT), and we do not provide medical or psychological services.

Our guidance is not built on secular counseling theories or human-centered models. It is grounded entirely in the authority and sufficiency of Scripture.

This ministry should not be considered a substitute for medical care, psychiatric treatment, or licensed counseling when those may be necessary. Instead, it is pastoral care and discipleship rooted in God’s Word.

Jeremiah 17:9–10 says,

“The heart is deceitful above all things… I the Lord search the heart…”

Because of this, we do not look inward for ultimate answers—we look to God. The goal is not behavior modification, but heart transformation through Jesus Christ.

Our Foundation

People do not ultimately need better coping strategies apart from God—they need truth. They need repentance where there is sin, endurance in suffering, wisdom in confusion, and hope in despair. Above all, they need Jesus.

2 Peter 1:3 says, “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness…”

God’s Word speaks directly to fear, anxiety, anger, bitterness, lust, grief, conflict, pride, and suffering. It is sufficient to guide believers into truth and maturity.

A Ministry for the Body

Biblical Guidance is not just for crisis. It is part of the church’s calling to care for one another. We restore, encourage, help, and walk together under Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:14 says,

“Admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.”
