Parenting Tools: Ages 9–12

The ages of 9 through 12 are a critical bridge between childhood and the teenage years. Children in this stage are growing in independence, asking bigger questions, forming deeper friendships, testing limits, and beginning to face stronger pressures from the world around them. This is not a season for parents to step back. It is a season to lean in with wisdom, consistency, grace, and truth.
That is why Vine & Branch Fellowship is offering Parenting Tools: Ages 9–12, a workshop designed to encourage and equip parents with practical, gospel-shaped help for these important preteen years.
We are grateful to have Stephanie Torok leading this workshop. Stephanie is a member of Vine & Branch and brings 37 years of experience as an elementary school teacher, Christian Education Director, and Principal at Motherlode Christian School. She is also a mom of two and a grandma of four. She has a remarkable gift for understanding and reaching elementary-age children and helping parents apply practical wisdom in everyday life.
In this workshop, parents of children ages 9 through 12 will receive help with real issues that matter, including:
Forming character that lasts
Building healthy social skills
Navigating friendships and peer pressure
Strengthening obedience, respect, and responsibility
Talking about sexuality with wisdom and age-appropriate clarity
Parenting with grace, truth, consistency, and courage
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
